The luxury Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados, which is owned by a consortium including Irish businessman Dermot Desmond, has won the latest round of a 13year-old libel battle against the Sunday Times.

The luxury Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados, which is owned by a consortium including Irish businessman Dermot Desmond, has won the latest round of a 13year-old libel battle against the Sunday Times.

Times Newspapers Ltd and journalists Zoe Brennan and Wendy Leigh were sued by a company called Sandy Lane Hotel Ltd over an article published In March 1998.
