Paul Vincent and Maria Flynn set up Limperts Academy of Design in 2000. The academy offers home study courses for adults in interior design, image, fashion styling and landscape gardening.

The academy has also licensed a number of institutes of technology, including those in Carlow, Waterford and Tralee to teach the courses.

Vincent has a background in marketing, while Flynn has a diploma in interior architecture.
