Derry e-voting company to continue expansion

Derry-based electronic voting firm Opt2Vote has recorded sales of around stg£7 million (€10.3 million) for the first half of this year, after winning a number of new contracts.

Derry-based electronic voting firm Opt2Vote has recorded sales of around stg£7 million (€10.3 million) for the first half of this year, after winning a number of new contracts.

Matthew Brown, sales and marketing director of Opt2Vote, said the company had sold equipment to over 42 local authorities in Britain this year and was now considering expanding beyond Britain.

Opt2Vote was established in 2003 and supplies a range of electronic voting software.
