Demand for credit remains low says SME report

Demand for credit remains low with 38 per cent of SMEs requesting bank credit between October 2011 and March 2012, according to the latest SME Lending Demand Survey.

Demand for credit remains low with 38 per cent of small and medium enterprises requesting bank credit between October 2011 and March 2012, a 2 per cent increase on the previous six months, according to the latest SME Lending Demand Survey.

The report was carried out by Ipsos MRBI in conjunction with Mazars and was published by Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan today.
