Delay on TV3/Communicorp deal

The precise nature of the deal between the station and Denis O'Brien's empire has yet to be finalised, writes Siobhán Brett.

The new commercial partnership between TV3 and Communicorp has become the subject of some wrangling as the companies finalise its terms.

Although described by insiders as “very well-defined”, the precise nature of the deal from a talent-sharing, cross-promotion and programming perspective has yet to be confirmed.

As well as offering trading packages and advertising deals, TV3’s partnership with Communicorp may involve occasional collaborative programming. “Live link-ups” between the companies’ TV and radio studios...
