Defence forces launch schoolbook appeal
The Chaplaincy Service of the Irish Defence Forces and internet firm Schoolbookexchange.ie have launched ‘Pass it on’, an appeal for schoolbooks to send to Liberia in Africa.
The Chaplaincy Service of the Irish Defence Forces and internet firm Schoolbookexchange.ie have launched ‘Pass it on’, an appeal for schoolbooks to send to Liberia in Africa.
Schools can collect old school books, copybooks, pencils and other classroom equipment, which will be shipped to Liberia to give children there better education prospects.
A list of collection points, which have been sponsored by businesses, is available at www.militarychaplaincy.ie
