An Bord Pleanala’s decision to grant permission for the Poolbeg toxic incinerator is but the latest example of unelected bureaucrats giving the two fingers to the people they are bound to protect. Despite receiving over 3,500 submissions from people in the area opposed to the plant, they granted permission regardless.
