WaveBreak Media targets growth

Following investment in 2010 by Kernel Capital through the Bank of Ireland Seed Fund, WaveBreak Media increased from three staff to 20 and expanded into new markets.

The Cork-based firm, which has positive and growing earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda), plans to increase its workforce to 30 over the next 12 months. Sean Prior, WaveBreak Media chief executive, said the Kernel investment had been key to the firm's subsequent success.
