DCU spin-off firm finalises €1m investment round

Gas Sensor Solutions (GSS), a spin-off company from Dublin City University (DCU), is finalising an investment of more than €1 million to fund its expansion.

Gas Sensor Solutions (GSS), a spin-off company from Dublin City University (DCU), is finalising an investment of more than €1 million to fund its expansion.

Padraig Quinlan, the general manager of GSS, said the young company would use the funds to stay cash-positive as it boosted its sales and marketing activity. He would not comment on the investors in the funding round, which is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
