DCC Healthcare to buy Kent Pharmaceuticals

DCC has bought British generic drugs company Kent Pharmaceuticals in a move that will significantly increase the scale of the company’s pharma business, it said.

DCC has bought British generic drugs company Kent Pharmaceuticals in a move that will significantly increase the scale of the company’s pharma business, it said.

The deal is based on an enterprise valuation of €71.2 million and is subject to approval from the Irish Competition Authority. DCC anticipates that the transaction will be completed by its healthcare division in early 2013.
