DCC and Panda Waste in running to buy Greenstar

Industrial company DCC and Irish waste firm Panda are circling Greenstar, the waste management group that is in receivership with debts of €83 million.

Publicly-quoted industrial company DCC and Irish waste firm Panda are both circling Greenstar, the waste management group that is in receivership with debts of €83 million.

Gores Group, the US private equity group, had previously expressed a tentative interest in Greenstar, but is believed to have withdrawn from the sales process last Wednesday.
