The Dublin Business Innovation Centre (DBIC) assisted the establishment of 16 new high-tech start-ups and made multimillion euro seed finance investments last year.
The DBIC was set up in 1987 to give advice and provide access to seed capital for new businesses. Supporting the creation of 16 companies last year was a 45 per cent increase on 2007 figures and was DBIC’s strongest year since 2000.
