Dublin IT company Data Electronics has invested €2.5 million in a 13,000-square-foot extension to its DataCentre facility in Kilcarbery Park in Dublin.

Dublin IT company Data Electronics has invested €2.5 million in a 13,000-square-foot extension to its DataCentre facility in Kilcarbery Park in Dublin.

The company has won a multimillion euro deal with Vodafone to host part of its voice and data infrastructure at the newly extended 21,000 square feet facility.

Data Electronics chief executive Maurice Mortell said the ten-year deal would enable Vodafone to “build more resilience and capacity'' on its network to deliver its 3G services....
