Dublin's Dartmouth Square, the subject of controversy in recent years after it was sold to a businessman who tried to develop it commercially, has failed to sell at auction.
The square did not attract any bids at its reserve price of €140,000 at today's Allsop auction of discounted properties in Dublin, RTE reported.
Described in the brochure as a "freehold Georgian garden", the pretty square enclosed by iron railings extends to two acres.
