Extra security measures have been imposed on Dart and rail services in advance of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II, writes Martha Kearns.

It follows a bomb scare which shut Dublin’s Connolly Station last Wednesday morning.

Army bomb experts dealt with a suspicious device which was spotted by a contractor working at the station.
