Danish lender Danske Bank has launched a legal blitz against errant borrowers, initiating more than 100 High Court actions in the last ten weeks alone. New data reveals that Danske has issued 237 separate proceedings in the High Court this year as it seeks to work its way through its troubled loan book.
MyLegalDiary, the legal information specialists that compiled the data, said that the vast majority of the cases were debt collections and repossessions.
