The Queens Bar and Restaurant, the Dublin hostelry owned by former AIB chief executive Tom Mulcahy, went into the red last year and its cash reserves fell.

The Queens Bar and Restaurant, the Dublin hostelry owned by former AIB chief executive Tom Mulcahy, went into the red last year and its cash reserves fell.

Retained profits at the Dalkey pub fell by €30,000 to €643,000 for the year ending August 31, 2007. The firm’s cash reserves fell from €239,000 in 2006 to just €39,000 at the end of its last financial year.
