Dalata Hotel Group said it has agreed to acquire the freehold interest in Cork’s Clarion Hotel for €35.1 million.

The four-star hotel, which is located on Lapp’s Quay in the city centre, has 191 bedrooms. The deal is expected to complete this month.

The hotel, which opened in 2005, will continue to be operated by Choice Hotels under a 35-year leasehold agreement with upward-only rent reviews at five-year periods. The hotel has...
