Dalata buys two hotels in €32m deal

Dalata Hotel Group has announced the acquisition of two four-star hotels — the Clayton Hotel in Galway and Whites Hotel in Wexford — for nearly €32 million.

Dalata Hotel Group has announced the acquisition of two four-star hotels — the Clayton Hotel in Galway and Whites Hotel in Wexford — for nearly €32 million.

Both hotels have been managed by the Dalata group under management contracts since 2009 and it is expected that the deals will close within a month.

Davy Research called the deal “low risk” and a “good use of the group’s cash” based on the performance of the hotel sector....
