Dairy Board opens Algerian office

The Irish Dairy Board (IDB) is to open an office in Algeria to help dairy companies reach the North African market.

The Irish Dairy Board (IDB) is to open an office in Algeria today, IDB chief executive has told RTÉ's Morning Ireland.

The office is located in the city of Oran and will be charged with helping Irish dairy companies to reach a market of 200 million consumers in North Africa. IDB is also opening a 4,000 tonne per annum Kerrygold packaging plant in Algeria.
