Dublin Airport Authority wants to move taxi drivers from disputed parking spaces to make way for a McDonald's drive-through restaurant and Topaz filling station.

Taxi drivers at Dublin Airport went on strike for three days recently, and refused to pick up passengers because the airport authority blocked them from using an overflow area for 70 drivers awaiting access to ranks at the terminals.
