The sale of Dublin Airport Authority's (DAA) stake in Dusseldorf airport, which could be worth as much as €250 million is one of the suggestions contained in a set of alternative proposals to resolve the crisis in the authority's pension fund.

The study, prepared in a personal capacity by Siptu official Dermot O'Loughlin, is currently under consideration by the trade union and may be formally proposed as an alternative solution to solve the funding problems....
