Last year, there was an advertising campaign for a well-known brand of dark Irish stout that featured a town where time moved in a completely different way to anywhere else. The clock turned backwards, the wonderful moments were lengthened so that they could be enjoyed all the more, and the boring times were fast-forwarded.
