Cyprus Crisis: Europe waits anxiously as Cyprus talks go to the wire

The precedents being set in the Cypriot talks are being closely watched around Europe, writes Cliff taylor.

It is going to the last minute. It always goes to the last minute. Eurogroup finance ministers are due to meet in Brussels today in emergency session to try to tie up an agreement with Cyprus to allow a bailout plan to go ahead. The European Central Bank said it would withdraw support from the country's banks at close of business tomorrow, if the deal is not agreed.

This would inevitably lead to a chaotic...
