Former Roscommon GAA star Shane Curran is considering a run in the forthcoming Roscommon-South Leitrim by-election.
The by-election has to be held by November, following the election of sitting TD Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan to the European Parliament.
Curran (43), who captained Roscommon for several years and won an All Ireland medal with his club St Brigid’s in 2013, said he had been inundated with requests from business people to run.
