Culture clash hinders merger

A 'difference in culture' has been cited as a reason why so many of Bloxham's brokers are jumping ship as opposed to transfering to Davy, writes Samantha McCaughren.

The world of Irish stockbroking has seen some stormy scenes in the past two months, sparked by the acquisition by Davy of the private clients division of its smaller rival, Bloxham. It now looks as if just ten of the Bloxham staff will join Davy and four of them will be brokers.
