Cork start-up Cubic Telecom has secured investment totalling €1.5 million from a private investor.

Cork start-up Cubic Telecom has secured investment totalling €1.5 million from a private investor.

Pat Phelan, company founder and chief executive, said the funding would be used to release a new range of telecoms products, but declined to reveal specific details.

‘‘Our service aims to eliminate the high cost of international roaming charges by focusing on introducing simple, high quality telecommunications services,” said Phelan.
