Cross-border initiative hopes to drum up trade for SMEs

A major cross-border networking initiative aims to generate new business of €3.78 million in for SMEs in the North and south.

The message from Intertrade Ireland (ITI), the all-island trade body behind the Network & Getwork programme, is that networking is crucial for small companies fighting the recession.

ItsNetwork&Getwork programme brings SMEs together with larger operators who might need their products or services.The aim is to secure new business for participating SMEs by widening their network of beneficial contacts.
