Croke Park’s 2008 profits close to €20m

Croke Park made an operating profit of between €18 million and €20 million last year, according to results to be published on Tuesday.

Croke Park made an operating profit of between €18 million and €20 million last year, according to results to be published on Tuesday.

The stadium generated revenues of close to €50 million in 2008, up from about €44 million the previous year. The figure was boosted by the revenue received from leasing out the stadium for soccer and rugby internationals and concerts.

The 2008 results will also show that Croke Park paid down its bank debt...
