CRH CEO Myles Lee to retire, sales rise 3%

UPDATE: CRH chief executive Myles Lee is to retire at the end of this year as it reported financial results for its 2012 business year.

Building materials group CRH has announced that its chief executive Myles Lee is to retire at the end of this year as it reported financial results for its 2012 business year.

The company reported a three per cent rise in sales to €18.7 billion.

European sales dropped by seven per cent and EBITDA earnings in the region fell by 12 per cent.
