A Dublin-based medical diagnostics company has announced that it is pursuing a €5 million funding round in order to finance development of a new test for osteoporosis.

Crescent Diagnostics, which is based in UCD's technology transfer centre NovaUCD, has developed a new test which it calls BQT.
