Justice minister Alan Shatter has come under fire from Europe minister Lucinda Creighton over views on abortion.
Justice minister Alan Shatter has come under fire from Europe minister Lucinda Creighton over views he expressed on the "inevitability" of abortion laws being extended in the coming years for cases of rape and fatal foetal abnormalities.
Creighton said that Shatter's statements contradicted reassurances given by Taoiseach Enda Kenny to Fine Gael TDs that this abortion bill would not pave the way for more liberal laws.
She is "totally opposed" to his view.
