Creighton criticises Dáil reform package over party whip system

Former junior minister Lucinda Creighton has hit out at the government's Dáil reform package on grounds that it fails to tackle the dominance of the party whip system.

Former junior minister Lucinda Creighton has hit out at the government's Dáil reform package on grounds that it fails to tackle the dominance of the party whip system.

Creighton was speaking at the think-in of the new independent group, the Reform Alliance, held at Buswell's Hotel in Dublin yesterday. The day-long meeting was attended by five TDs and two Senators who were expelled from the FG parliamentary party.
