Donal McKillop: 'It is essential that there are clear regulatory frameworks.'

Donal McKillop, a softly-spoken professor from Queen's University in Belfast, has spent much of the past year sketching a roadmap for the future of Ireland's credit union movement.

Appointed by the government to chair the Commission on Credit Unions last May, McKillop produced two substantive reports that form the backbone for the proposed legislative overhaul of the sector.
