Wicklow web agency Whatswhat.ie is employing flexible working arrangements to aid expansion in an uncertain economy. The company recently announced plans to create 50 new jobs to drive sales nationwide. All of the new recruits will be contracted to work with the company on a self-employed basis.

According to Barbara Gordon, founder and managing director of Whatswhat.ie, the idea is to enable a flexible and independent working style.
