CPL profit jump sees shares hit 4 year high

Recruitment firm CPL Resources has posted a 19.9 per cent increase in pre tax profits to €9.75 million after what it described as a year of strong organic growth.

Recruitment firm CPL Resources saw its shares jump 4.8 per cent to their highest level since April 2008 after it posted a 19.9 per cent increase in pre tax profits to €9.75 million, for the 12 months to the end of June.

It said that it had experienced strong organic growth during the year and predicted further profitable growth in the months ahead.

Revenues at the company grew 23 per cent to hit a record level of €290 million....
