Minister for Finance Brian Cowen lobbied the Revenue Commissioners on behalf of members of the public significantly more times than any other TD or senator last year.

While most TDs made just one or two representations, Cowen lobbied the Revenue 94 times last year, according to figures from the Revenue.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern made 27 representations to the Revenue, the fourth-highest number made by any member of the Oireachtas, according to figures released under the Freedom...
