Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney has insisted that the government needs to use the cabinet reshuffle to start setting the agenda again after a “pretty bruising six months”.

He said that the forthcoming reshuffle was an opportunity to bring in some fresh faces, some new voices and some changes in responsibility.
