Court security plans postponed

Plans to introduce tight security in the Four Courts have been postponed.

Plans to introduce tight security in the Four Courts have been postponed. Group 4 Falck was due to provide staff to operate the new system under contract from the Courts Service, but the start date has been put back for several weeks.

The new arrangements, including the use of scanning equipment, would have restricted public access to the courts to two checkpoints, in Chancery Place and Morgan Place.
