A senior Commercial Court judge has warned that the imminent retirement of a number of court registrars will "inevitably have a knock-on effect on the efficiency of the court system".

Mr Justice Peter Kelly was speaking on the role of the Commercial Court at the annual lecture of the Hibernian Law Journal.
