Court battles lie ahead as tribunal hots up

The Mahon Tribunal has been thrust back into the spotlight by the controversy over the Taoiseach’s finances.

Clearly furious about the level of detail emerging about his accounts, Bertie Ahern has pointed out that only those with intimate knowledge of the information he gave to the tribunal could be responsible for the leaks. For its part, the tribunal has said that it was not responsible for leaking the information.
