Developers are urged to link two sites to enhance the area, writes Neil Callanan.

Dublin City Council is to ask Liam Carroll and Pascal Conroy’s Albion Properties to drop their plans for the redevelopment of Dalymount Park and the Phibsboro shopping centre respectively.

The council wants the developers to instead link the two sites and provide the area with ‘‘a greatly enhanced village centre, and act as a catalyst for the overall regeneration...
