Carlow County Council has refused to disclose the identity of property developers who held undocumented meetings with the local authority's former planning boss.

Carlow County Council has refused to disclose the identity of property developers who held undocumented meetings with the local authority's former planning boss.

The meetings - details of which have remained a secret - were first revealed in a report by former Louth council manager John Quinlivan for the council.

Those revelations prompted John Gormley, the previous environment minister, to include Carlow Council on a list of seven local authorities to have their planning practices...
