Priced stg£256,000 in Britain, the latest Rolls Royce Phantom has found just seven buyers in Ireland, at a cost of about half a million euros.

An opportunity to drive the Phantom showed the car still has special appeal. Initially intimidated by its bulk, one soon becomes accustomed to its impressive size, aided by a high driving position, clearly visible wing tips and the Flying Lady centrepiece.
