Costa Coffee thriving despite downturn

British coffee chain Costa Coffee has celebrated the opening of two more outlets in Ireland by holding its annual European Barista of the Year competition in Dublin.

British coffee chain Costa Coffee has celebrated the opening of two more outlets in Ireland by holding its annual European Barista of the Year competition in Dublin.

International chief operating officer Andy Marshall was in town last Thursday to open the store and judge the competition at its Dawson Street outlet. Twelve of its baristas from across Europe battled it out to win the title of Costa’s European Barista of the Year 2011.
