Cork GP group to open €25 million healthcare centre

A €25 million primary healthcare centre is to open in Cork, after three local GP practices decided to develop an integrated healthcare centre.

A €25 million primary healthcare centre is to open in Cork, after three local GP practices decided to develop an integrated healthcare centre.

Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre (MPHC) is due to open in January next year and will provide primary care, health and personal social services.

Dr Harry Casey, spokesman for the group of GPs developing the project, described it as ‘‘a leading-edge, user-friendly facility’’.
