Cork firm wins Italian award

DigiSoft.tv, a Cork company that makes software for interactive television, has won the Irish Italian Business Association's 2005 award.

DigiSoft.tv, a Cork company that makes software for interactive television, has won the Irish Italian Business Association's 2005 award.

Digisoft has staff in Italy and a number of deals with other Italian stations. It won the award for developing trade between the Ireland and Italy.

It has just raised €2.55 million in funding from 4th Level Ventures, Enterprise Ireland and existing investor Pat McDonagh, the founder of technology firms Riverdeep and SmartForce.
