Cork-based start-up secures €1.1m funding

Radisens Diagnostics, a Cork based medical device start-up, has closed a €1.1 million funding round.

Radisens Diagnostics, a Cork based medical device start-up, has closed a €1.1 million funding round.

The round included €500,000 from the Bank of Ireland MedTech Accelerator Fund, managed by Kernel Capital, private BES investment and a contribution from Enterprise Ireland.

Established in 2009, Radisens has developed a mobile device that can be used for medical diagnoses in point-of care settings, such as GP clinics, outpatient departments, emergency rooms and small hospital laboratories.
