Cork-based Dornan sees turnover rise to over €74m

Cork-based mechanical, electrical and instrumentation contractor Dornan Engineering made a profit before tax of €2.2 million in 2011, up from €1.5 million the previous year.

Turnover at Cork-based Dornan Engineering rose to €74.41 million last year from €71.96 million in 2010, according to accounts just filed with the Companies Registration Office.

The rise in turnover led to profit before tax rising to€2.2 million in 2011, up from €1.5 million the previous year, at the Little Island headquartered mechanical, electrical and instrumentation contractor.

Dornan operates in Ireland, Britain, Sweden, Germany, Belgium and Russia and is involved in a range of infrastructure building...
