Tech start-up produces controlled-release capsules that can be used for a variety of purposes, writes Danielle Ryan.

Founded in 2011, AnaBio Technologies has been making waves in the food and biotechnology industries with its innovative new encapsulation technology. The Cork start-up has created capsules to protect sensitive food ingredients, animal feeds and therapeutics and deliver them to a target site within the body.

In plainer terms, it’s a “controlled release system” for ingredients that are particularly sensitive to processing conditions, said Sinéad Doherty, the company’s founder....
